'Program' music is a type of orchestral music which relies on the accompanying program to describe the storyline of the performance. The five movements of 'Symphonie Fantastique' by Hector Berlioz, performed by the Berliner Philharmoniker is reflected in the design of it’s program, each page unfolding to reveal the next stage in the story.

A gilmer of golden ink and different abstract shapes are revealed after each movement, forming a full-page poster at the performances completion. The design of the program responds contextually to its usage, with dark paper and reflective golden ink easy to read in a dimly-lit environment.
